SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is proud to host a complimentary webinar, ‘What you need to know about the proposed new EU toy safety regulation,’ on September 28.
With the new draft amendments to the EU’s toy safety legislation currently open to comment, toy manufacturers need to be aware of the proposed regulatory changes. These are intended to replace EU Directive 2009/48/EC, the so-called Toy Safety Directive, with a regulation that will strengthen safety.
The webinar will detail the key changes being proposed and how they will affect manufacturers. This includes requirements for a new digital product passport, chemical safety, changes to warnings, and the collection and analysis of consumer complaints.
Presenters Dr HingWo Tsang and Sanda Stefanovic will provide an expert overview of the proposed amendments and their approval process. There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
This event will be of interest to quality managers, manufacturers, retailers and designers.
