SGS hosts webinar on compliance with Uganda’s PVoC program

Geneva (July 31, 2025) – SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is pleased to host a complimentary webinar, “Uganda PVoC Program Awareness 2025 – Ensuring Compliance of Your Products to the Program Requirements,” on August 12, 2025.

The Uganda PVoC program, implemented by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), plays a critical role in verifying that imported products meet national standards and technical regulations. Effective since March 2023, the program helps safeguard consumers, protect the environment and streamline the clearance of compliant goods.

This expert-led session will provide an overview of the PVoC program, including recent updates, exporter and importer responsibilities and common non-conformities encountered during inspections. Attendees will gain practical knowledge to help them ensure product compliance and avoid disruptions during customs clearance.
