Chinese Toy Safety Standard GB 6675 Parts 1 to 4 Updated

Geneva (November 3, 2025) – SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, has published SafeGuardS 156.25, outlining updates to China’s toy safety standard GB 6675, parts 1 through 4.

The following standards were published by the National Standardization Administration of China on October 5, 2025:
– GB 6675.1-2025 Safety of toys – Part 1: Basic code
– GB 6675.2-2025 Safety of toys – Part 2: Mechanical and physical properties
– GB 6675.3-2025 Safety of toys – Part 3: Flammability
– GB 6675.4-2025 Safety of toys – Part 4: Migration of certain elements

These mandatory requirements fall under the scope of the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) and are closely aligned with the international ISO 8124 series standards. They will take effect on November 1, 2026.
