Brazil’s Ministry of Economy/National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) has amended its compliance date for suppliers of pacifiers to adapt their layout for the conformity identification seal.
Under the terms of INMETRO Ordinance No. 301 of July 12, 2021, the original compliance date was December 31, 2021. The new compliance date is December 31, 2022.
Ordinance No. 301 approved consolidated conformity assessment requirements for pacifiers. It came into force in August 2021.
