SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, has published an article in its new Product Conformity Assessment (PCA) Newsletter looking at the Cameroon Pre-shipment Conformity Assessment Program.
In May 2021, the Government in Cameroon issued a decree to extend its pre-shipment conformity assessment program to cover all imported goods. The changes came into effect on November 15, 2021.
In the first edition of SGS’s PCA Newsletter, trade facilitation expert Thierno Bah answers the questions exporters have about the expansion and its impact on their business. He explains the changes the program and considers how exporters can successfully access Cameroon’s markets.
