SGS hosts eco-modulation webinar to keep the textile industry updated on the latest durability requirements

SGS, the world’s leading testing inspection and certification company, is pleased to invite marketers, brands, retailers and suppliers operating in France to a specialized webinar on the latest Refashion eco-modulations, with a focus on the durability requirements for textiles, household linen and footwear (TLC).

The French Government has mandated Refashion to promote the design of products that minimize environmental impact. This eco-organization has now refined its criteria, introducing new categories and compliance requirements. These are now available to marketers who aim to enhance their products and qualify for financial bonuses.

On January 23, 2025, SGS expert Valérie Cimetiere will host two sessions to help businesses involved in the import and sale of softline products in France gain valuable insights into the latest eco-modulation criteria, including bonuses and potential penalties. Each session will cover Refashion’s eco-modulations, existing and newly updated durability specifications, and the timeline for implementation. Attendees will then have the opportunity to ask questions specific to their products.

Session 1 will take place at 10:00 am (GMT +1:00) Europe/Paris time, with session 2 being held at 4:00 pm (GMT +1:00) Europe/Paris time.
