Geneva (March 24, 2025) – SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is proud to host a live webinar, ‘Non-clinical strategies for ensuring cosmetic product safety’, on April 16, 2025.
The 2022 US Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) has implemented the greatest change in US safety and quality requirements for cosmetics since the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic (FD&C) Act in 1938. Following MoCRA’s implementation, businesses marketing cosmetic products are responsible for ensuring their safety.
This webinar takes attendees through the importance of risk assessments for cosmetic products, exploring core elements and presenting safe and trusted methodologies. It also includes a review of key toxicology principles and tools for in vitro testing.
Expert presenters Joseph Scognamiglio, Director of Operations, Cosmetics and Personal Care, and Frédéric Nunzi, Head of SGS Lab and Clinic, Cosmetics and Personal Care, will help attendees understand how these non-clinical methods are used to support safe cosmetic products.
This event will be of interest to cosmetic manufacturers, producers, product stewards and personnel involved with the safety and regulatory compliance of cosmetic products.
