Stakeholders should be aware that among the updates the toy electrical standard EN 62115 has been amended and now provides a complete list of references for toy safety standards that are designated under S.I. 2011/1881, fully aligning the list of designated standards for GB with EU harmonized toy standards. Some additional voluntary measures have also been suggested for toys with button or coin type batteries.

This includes, under the entry for electric toys, an informative note detailing, inter alia, the additional voluntary measures for toys with button or coin type batteries.
