SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is pleased to invite traders of food contact materials (FCM) to a webinar on June 9, 2022 – United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Regulatory Requirements for Food Contact Materials.
Importing to and trading in the UAE and KSA requires manufacturers and traders of FCM to meet complex regulations. In the UAE, suppliers must prove compliance with mandatory quality and safety standards, as well as Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) requirements, and hold a valid Certificate of Conformity (CoC). All exports to KSA are subject to mandatory certification under the SABER SALEEM program implemented by Ministry of Investment, through Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).
As an approved Notified Body in the UAE and KSA, SGS is an expert on local regulations and standards. In this one hour webinar, two SGS experts will cover a wide range of related subjects including MoIAT registration requirements, conformity certification schemes, UAE and KSA regulation and standards, testing and labeling requirements, SABER registration requirements and more. The session will conclude with a Q&A.
