SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is pleased to present Battery Testing Latest Updates in UN ECE R100 for Vehicles with an Electric Powertrain, a complimentary webinar to support vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and distributers of electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid vehicle (HV) batteries destined for Europe.
Once a vehicle battery’s development has progressed to the point where market entry appears feasible, it must be tested in accordance with ECE-R100. This is the final hurdle that must be cleared before a battery can get the green light from regulatory authorities and, most importantly, be placed on the market.
Presenter Michael Wiedenbauer is a technical specialist, and he will introduce attendees to recent updates to the UN ECE-R100 standard, identify the changes from Rev. 02, and provide you with an overview of the tests required for vehicles with an electric powertrain and destined for the European market.
