SGS’s new partnership with the CAR provides improved product standards

SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is delighted to announce a new partnership with the government of the Central African Republic (CAR), enabling quick product compliance services enhanced with the latest digital technology.

Exclusively authorized by the CAR government for the provision of pre-export verification of conformity (PVoC) services, SGS helps businesses ensure their products adhere to CAR quality standards. Details of the new collaboration, which aims to strengthen the PVoC program efficiency and enhance consumer protection, will be available soon via SGS’s website.

New digital tools have allowed SGS to refine PVoC services. Requests for Certificates of Conformity can be made through the secure online SGS Exporter Portal. The exclusive SGS QiiQ™ tool allows for remote digital inspections and the eTrade platform provides easy access to crucial guidance and documentation.

SGS’s commitment to constantly improving trade facilitation has been recognized by this new CAR partnership. Actively collaborating and embracing digital advancements has allowed SGS to help businesses align with CAR standards quickly and easily while contributing to safety and quality standards in the country.

More information about PVoC services in the CAR is available in the Q3 PCA Newsletter.
